I just got a 2004 Riders Edition 24v Tige boat and my parents want to re-paint it because we dont like the paint job on it right now and we wanna put some more speakers on it... lets see pics of your pimped out Tige boats everyone!!! so that i can get some cool ideas! Also if you have any advice or ideas throw them at me!

It's really cool that your parents are willing to spend money on a new boat!
Don't repaint, the color is in the gelcoat. Change the vinyl graphics but don't paint over the gelcoat.

Greg is right, if you paint over the gel coat it will start peeling within two years. If you really want to see the color options go to www.tige.com they haven't updated their site yet to 2005 so you can look at all the color options and see what colors your parents should have bought if they are not happy with it

Why did your parents buy a brand new boat in colors that they don't like?

It's not like a car, you can't just repaint it.

Unless its pink with green polka dots, I'd leave it the way it is, color is very subjective, it usually grows on you.

Dont repaint, get a different set of vinyl graphics or a custom vinyl graphic made up you'd be surprised what vinyl can do and its probably ohhhh 5000 cheaper or so. So we got the same last name and both own tiges... irony, dont paint though, it will kill the value of the boat, oh yea and the other thought about tower speakers... yea get lots of those

I really can't see a new 24V looking bad. But maybe Tige does offer pink with green polka dots. From what I hear you should have your parents throw on a couple NVS speaker sets on the tower though

Go vinyl and come up w/ your own sweet grafx scheme. Try to toss some reflective colored vinyl. Only seen it a few times, talk about stand out.
