Boarding on a Budget. This is my 92 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon and my 84 Supra Rider. I have had the car since Feb and have been modifying it since then. The boat I just picked up the other week and I am planning on hooking it up like the wagon. As of right now I have less than $7,000 in the whole rig but with tower, ballast and vinyl I am hoping on staying under the $10,000 mark!

Very cool. For a while I had a 1979 Mercury wagon to pull my 82 correct craft with.

There were these guys at the ramp with a newer malibu and diesel ram that came running up to me telling how great my setup was.

Looks good. Morningwood Camo on the wagon looks good too. I wonder if people can decipher the pattern from a shot like this?

Did you crank up the torsion bars on the wagon or is that just the result of big tires?

thanks for all the comments. I will post more pics as we continue to work on it.

Talltige, Me and my crew have a blast out on the lake.

Matt, Good eye on the camo. Most people don't see it until you tell them or after 5 to 10 mins of looking.

Sam we took front coil springs out of a 96 Tahoe and put them in the front of the wagon. Then we put the front wagon springs in the back. That gave us about 4in of lift. It was only then that the 31x10.50's even fit. I was also thinking about flat blacking the entire boat instead of the camo. it would be a lot cheaper. But I am not sure it would stay on the fiber glass as much as we have it in the water.

How much did that decal cost, and what is the size, or do they sell by the foot or something? Very cool!

I love those wagons. There is a guy around the corner from me that has had his since it was new. I hope to buy it from him when he can no longer drive. He's in his mid to upper 80's but is out there at least once a week cleaning that car up. It looks brand new. Great set up by the way.

I vote for camo'ing the boat too, instead of the flat black - that would be sick! I wonder if the guide bunks would tear up the camo panels?

Nice setup. I wonder what it would look like if you just camoed the stripes and left the rest white?

Here is a pic of a MC PS 190, spray painted black and slapped an X2 sticker on the side.. I thought that it looked good. I think this is early 2003, thats George Daniels in the green T, I don't think he could drive yet.

Alan, where was that pick taken?

I've owned that boat for about a year, lol.

It went from George Daniels, to Josh Steele, to me, then to some guy in Idaho???

Those board rack on that boat were awesome, made by Nevin Board sports, some of the original clamp style racks.

Haha.. Small world. That is at my old house in Richmond, VA. They spent the week with my friends and I riding on the Chickahominy. Loved the boat for wakeskating. We got George to get on a wakeboard, I think for the first time, and he landed a W2W 3. I have the footage somewhere.

Roadmasters are sweet vehicles - hopefully you have the 5.7. I had a 94 Impala on 20's about 6 years ago, I definitely regret selling it.
