Just curious. We may sell a board and I have a box that my board came in so it would just be shipping charges. Anyone know what it typically costs?

It is easy to figure out on UPS.com. All depends on where you ship it. I have done it a few times, and it is anywhere from 15-30$. Sent one to CA from MD last year for 30$ so that's the high end.

Thanks. I was just trying to get an idea.

Make sure you or the person buying it insures it! UPS only insures packages for $100 unless you pay the additional cost for more insurance. Additional insurance is only like $.25 per additional $100, so it is well worth it.

Just my two cents.

I sent a board from Indianapolis to New Jersey for $18 through FedEx. Their base rate included the insurance also.

Forget UPS. Fedex is the way to go. I sent a wakeboard to a guy not too far from me for $12 (CDN) with Fedex - I checked UPS and it would have been like $35.

Yeah FedEx is the way to go! Couldn't tell you exactly what it would cost you..I got an employee discount. I'm pretty sure it is cheaper though. We'll protect it better! I have sent a couple of boards FedEx with no problem.
