Hyperlite - The Gate

Has anyone ridden one of these yet? I have a Platinum, and I was thinking about upgrading. I had heard it is easier to ollie on the Gate. Anybody know anything?

the gate rocks! Easier to ollie, shuvit and control. it slides welland handles just how you want it to. I've only ridden a cassette once so i dont have much to compare it to, but i like it.

I am having alot of trouble with my ollies and getting air, so that is why I was asking if The Gate would be better.

what kind of board are you riding on? What's the problems you are having?

I have a Platinum 114, and I have alot of trouble getting it to pop on an ollie and off the wake. I have read all types of instructions on how to do ollies, and I can't get it right. That is why I wanted to know if the Gate would be easier.

the more i ride the gate the more i like it. ollies are really easy and w2w isn't bad either, i feel the potential for nollies but haven't tried yet, nice for sliding.

Are the ollies and w2w's easier with the Gate, than with a board that is not concave?
