What is the capacity (lbs) of the factory PNP midship bags (39x10x16) and what is everyone replacing them with. Ditto for the rear locker. Since these are small (350??) is anyone putting them in the observers compartment? Or are you just throwing them away?

We're talking post side here

Thanks

The mid ship bags you are referring to are the "Pro Ballast" bags and have a capacity of about 250 each and the PNP Surf ballast in the rear lockers are 714 each. The rear PNP bags are all you are going to get in those lockers, some have switched them out for 750's, but for only a few more pounds I would recommend putting a larger bag, like a 450 on the port side Pro Ballast, or adding another 450 in the observers compartment. Hope that helps . . . . .

Thanks for the replyTQ.... What if I put a 714 surf in place of the midship and fill it as much as I can? ..... This sound really strange to be running such little weight, we used to run 3000lbs in our Falcon.

Lol, nothing pro about 250 lbs

See what it does, I just plumbed in my v226 and left enough hose to try and run a 750 in that seat. The "Pro Ballast" is limited to the size of the starboard storage compartment to keep the weight balanced in the boat.
