Boat Sheds

I was just wondering if anyone had any good plans for a boat shed. I'm looking for something that I can leave my tower up with and will keep the boat from the elements. Any estimates on the cost to build would also help.

Need more details - there's a wide range of what you can spend. Fully enclosed, 3 sides, or just a roof? Slab, gravel, or dirt floor? Insulated? Electrical service? What kind of siding & roof? Etc.

You could spend as little as $150 for a tarp roof shelter, to $50K+ for a fully finished garage.

I would like something basic for right now that will be good for this winter. Like a metal roof with 3 sides, and a gravel or dirt floor for now. I will go back later and add a concrete floor, insulation and electrical services. I just need something that is going to work better than a cover but will also last.

I'd say if you plan to do a slab eventually, it would be easier to do it now because you're going to have to anchor the structure somehow anyway. It would also be more work and probably lower quality result if you try to pour a slab in later.

You might look into the temporary structures for now, and then sell that later and put up a real building on a slab.
