Yah, I've had a bunch of towers, two monsters, a new dimension, a krypt, aerial airborne and freeride. (see profile + 2 towers). Monster was good, but became too common, new dimension was awesome, but they are custom made for the boat so it fit perfectly and easily. They krypt I had problems keeping it tight and alignment sucked, way too many variables to adjust. The aerial airborne was one of my favorites, very solid. Just had this tower out today and it was completely quiet, very solid. The install seemed a little more labor intensive with this one, not necessarily difficult but the tower is heavy. Lots of weight to move around while trying to adjust it. I also ran into two pvc pipes fiberglassed into the sidewall which took a lot of effort. The instructions on line helped a little, but if I hadn't done so many of these in the past I would have felt pretty lost. I had to cut 4" off of each of the horizontal arms up top to get the tower narrow enough to fit my boat. No big deal, a few minutes with a hand saw, but there certainly wasn't anything in the instructions about it. Standard drilling up top. On the sides once you determine the stance width you need to drill a couple holes through the front legs. Again, instructions to prepare you for what you need to do always help. Folding system is a little odd, and as I do almost everything all by myself I'm glad I'm strong enough to do it. Anyway, I'm kind of rambling. Overall I really dig the tower. Think it looks great, works great, and as far as I can tell, I'm the first person on the internet to actually put one of these on a boat.
