badass wakeboards

does anyone remember a board company call badass wakeboards?

in like 1999 when i was living in new orleans i went to a demo day and they had a bunch of boards and bindings there. they have some pretty cool stuff i remember, they where the first boards i saw with outer molded fins. just wondering what happend to them and if anyone ever heard of them?

Yeah I've heard of them. I have one of their boards.

Herb is still doing astrodeck I believe. They had some awsome and really inovative shapes, gator bought some of the molds.

those old byerly bindings with the skulls were some of the coolest things in wakeboarding.

badass was a company that the fletcher family had going. christian, nate and herby fletcher. they are a surfing family. they started out doin the astrodeck stuff, the foam padding for surf boards and they did stuff for wakeskates and the sides or your boat. they made wakeboards and bindings for a while but they didnt last long. i think that scott buchard, the guy who shapes byerly's boards, shaped all the badass boards. they are no longer around but like kristian said i think gator did buy some of those shapes

I have some old Badass bindings, they suck but i keep them around for nastalgic purposes
