My brand new boat got rained on the way home from the lake two days ago and now the carpets smell like mildew and are alittle stiff. The boat stinks! What can I do? Pleas help, im stressing!!
303 carpet cleaner, hot water, brush, circulating air. Preventive, pull cushions, minimize water in boat, i.e. drain on the platform, dry boat before storage, i.e do not cover, fan.
i learned that a carwash vacum sucks the hell out of water also! mine got flooded by rain one day while trailering and as soon as it stopped i vacumed it out at the carwash and the carpet was nearly dry.
