Anyone out there have any ideas what may be causing an intermittent whine in my stereo? I have a Kenwood with 720 watt amp running 8 speakers in a Supra 21V. It is driving me insane because the dealer is trying hard to fix it but he can't replicate the problem in the shop. It is also sporadic out on the water. I can go up to a half hour before it starts to whine.

Could the replication problem in the shop be due to better grounding sitting on the trailer? That may be a stupid idea but neither I nor the dealer can solve this yet.

Thanks for any suggestions.

It's a 2005 21v. I have taken a look at pdxwake. Nice site. I'll start up a profile.

Diggs,
It is actually Black & White. So far I have only had it out at Charboneau.

Run a power and ground from the batt to the head unit and should solve your problem.
