I bought the 06 murray handle at the start of the season this year and after about 5 trips out the EVA grip was almost completely ripped off. So I had it replaced on warranty and that one is well on its way to doing the same thing after 2 trips out. Has anyone else had this same problem, and if so what have you done about it? I have a feeling I'm gonna get tired of sending them back before the 07's come out.

Are Hyperlite and Accurate essentially the same company???... Always wondered that; I haven't had a single problem with my 05 Murray (Accurate) Handle.

I had the 05 Murray handle and now have the 06 Murray handle. I went thru 2 handles last year and am on my 3rd this year. I'm really meticulous with my rope, coiling it and hanging it out to dry, and it is still wearing quick. On one I shattered the plastic side bar on a fall, but the other two had peeling grips. Luckily Hyperlite will warranty anything and everything....so I just keep trading them in and will do so until I find a handle that I like better.

I have had the same problem with my handle. I am just going to wait for the 07's to come out. My started to do it after a month, and I am not even that hard on them. Oh well, I still love the handle.
