Alright guys, I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on myself a board. I'm a noob when it comes to this so bare with me. I do know that a board w/ a 3 stage rocker is a must and that I need at the very min. a 140. I'm 5-11 and 265lbs. I've found a couple and was wondering your thoughts on a CWB Factor 144 or a CWB Transcend 142. Which size would be best for me? What diff. boards would you all recommend. Also which bindings, there are so many different choices, I don't know where to begin. I have boarded before but can't land any tricks and such.

Thanks in advance.

The Factor is a great board for you. You can get it with the Torq hinge binding as a package. For your level of riding I would not recommend the Trancend 142, but I would stongly recommend the Factor 144 with the Torq.

Sweet. We'll see here in a couple weeks when I finally order it and get back out on the water.

Yeah, pass on the T-send. Get the Factor...predictable, good pop, good size for you, fun board. T-send is not easy to ride and not a board for a newer rider.
