Someone, somewhere on this site claimed that the delta was going to be closed for the season. I think it was this site.

Anyways is that true or just a nasty rumor? How can they do this and has it every been done before for more than one day.

They have closed it in the winter when it's storming and the water level gets to high. A couple of years ago, it was closed for about a week.
