Looks like that could be dangerous.

its pretty much all the driver. all you have to do is stay on your heelside edge.

I do those on a slalom ski for my show ski team... alex is right it is all driver, it is the same concept as the turns on the Seisitec 2.0 system all you have to do is stay on edge and keep line tension until the boat makes it out of the turn. the most dangerous part in that video is it looks like they are pulling it from an extended pylon and if the pull was strong enough it could definetly bend the actual pylon. During our ski shows we use Ski Nautique 196's with the extended pylon up to the height of the windshield and the toughest part about pulling them is keeping line tension so the rope makes it around the bow or else there is a possibility of running over the rope (which we have done before)

Be careful doing this, I knew a guy who died doing this last summer. Tragic stuff

i tried one last summer and almost killed my neighbor. he is a big time skiier too and told me how to drive it...but i did it way wrong and the rope got hung up on the tower...i didn't really almost kill him, but he definitely had the fear. i'm going to practice more and get it right this summer...

We do it in a fully weighted X-Star all the time. When you do it right you are no where near the rider. They are really easy to do on the Roam since you can get so much glide.

'round the boat 360's are super fun. only dangerous thing i've experienced is when we did them with multiple people for our ski show. if you're on one of the shorter ropes and you fall, you have a good chance of gettin' shmucked by another skier (which is why you wear a helmet). i don't think i'd do it on a tower though, not so sure that they are structured to stress that way.

i've done it with tubes on my vlx tower, without so much as a bit of slack in the line. it just takes a little bit of driving skill. the rider can be completely mediocre.

I pulled Jerry Nunn a couple of years ago and he wanted me to do this for him. I had pulled this before for people, so I was not expecting Jerry to use the speed for a S bend off of the wake when he came back around and it freeked me out.
