Were going to Lake Norris for the first time, Were renting a house in Deerfirld resort. Any Ideas for riding, places to see, etc.

Brad,

Depends on the day of the week, time, etc. For instance, during the week you are going to get good water pretty much anywhere barring wind/waves, etc. On the weekends, from Deerfield, you can make it up Big Creek, or headed farther up the Powell and there are several good hollows. Longer boat drive, but there are two hollows on the east side of the Loyston/Lost Creek area that are nice lenghts for runs that are usually protected from the wind and other riders.

I second riding Powell river. Hardly any boat traffic smooth water, and not too far from Deerfield. You want to go past Flat Hollow up river. There is a sandbar that is marked with buoy's make sure to not go between the buoys, but around them.
