I am getting the boats im looking at for next pring narrowed down and a supersport is at the top of my list... I rode a super air at a contest way back but I cant really remember the wake that well other than i loved it. Anyone out there plz post any pics you have of a slammed SS or super air. Also Id like to see some pics of the dd sport model as well im thinking i may just get one of those if i cant find a decent price on an SS. Thanks!

1996 Supersport with 4,000:

Its huge, poppy as shiz, a little narrow but the boot is insane.

Here is ours... not "slammed" but like 2k in weight

its a 95 supersport
but even without an overload of weight the wake is still awesome

Luker, did your buddy break his ankle landing on the spot right outside of the trough on the other side of the wake?

Scotts wake is big and meaty.....

My only advice to anyone buying a SAN. Buy more sections of rope. Ha, ha, ha.

My buddy broke his ankle because he's not the best rider and did that case, bounce, to nose catch.

^ Agreed. The wake is pretty narrow for someone used to another style of wake like MC, Malibu, or newer Nattys.

Scott how do you have yours weighted? And do u guys think I could find a SS for around 15k?

How are u guys weighting ur 210's to steepen it up? U can't put too much toward the back cos it starts porpoising an to much in the front an its back to mellow, what are some ur setups??

Scott- what length and speed are you riding?

In my '03 i have the factory ballast (820 lbs.) with a "wedge" sac on top of either rear tank (400 each) and a v-drive sac in the bow (about 400) and about 225 lbs of lead in the very front for a total of about 2250 lbs of just ballast. When you pile in a few riders and their gear, I'm probably close to 3000-3500 lbs total.

With the rear tanks and sacs I should have about 1320 lbs in the rear and about 900 in the front with the belly tank, v-drive sac, and lead. If I did my math right I have about a 42/58 front/rear weight. I could not ask for a better popping wake riding at 24-25 MPH and 85'. Sorry I don't have any pics of the wake right now, but it is very similar looking to the pics above and in the video.

In my 04 Super Air I run fcatory ballast (i thought factor was 850#) plus 300# bags on top of hard tanks in rear + 500# on floor + 250# sac in bow + 200# lead in bow + 100# sac under bow cushion + 100 cube on top of seat = 850+600+500+250+200+100+100 = 2600lbs

Our set-up is as follows:

650 in the nose
300 in the walk through (towards the nose)
800 in the belly
600 in the floor (over the belly towards the back)
750x2 in the rear

Total around 3,850 w/o people. Wake is dope but with 4-5 folks it can be hard to get on plane unless some move to the nose.

I hate to be the A$$, but Torrey, that is neither 27.7 mph or 85' of rope.

A slammed SAN works great with 85', but more like 24mph. 3k also works fine, but it makes a wake that looks like Nick's or Scott's.

Time for a new pic, man.

I was thinking 3,850 pound of ballast for a foot and a half of air!!!!! Something is wrong.

Luker I didn't mean to post your weight total I was talking about the post above you.

That's not the kind of wake jump I see when the guy is able to ride at 27 mph!!! It could be a good idea to slow down a lil'bit and work on the technic!

It's not the kind of 210 wake I ride too! We only put +- 2000 pounds not 3k, so... I vote for and I/O with the ski rope!

My setup is around 3,000 #s +/- a few hundred. About 700 in the rear compartments including lead, custom ski locker sac around 800ish and an open bow triangle. Speed in the photo is 24-25 mph @ 85', rider is 6'1".

I think we also had 6 peeps in the boat that day. We were on the Delta and the wake was kickin extra hard...

God I love this thread, I look at Nick and Scott's pics and dream of hitting that wakes double up! Those have a lot of transition for the older 210s, makes me want one even more!

Mason, you willing to come to Seattle, WA to get one. There is a nice Super Sport with tower somewhere in my neighborhood for sale. I have only seen it on craigslist. It has the GT40 motor, boss tower, uninstalled stereo, PP, heater, shower, custom Ranking cover, tandem trailer. Oh nevermind, here is a link.

Thats close to twenty hours a year which means the boat has been sitting with rusty water in it most its life.I would look for one with closer to 500,700 hours.

A few from the weekend. My buddy has 750's in the lockers, 800 in the belly, and around 300 in the nose all plumbed in and hidden. We then add a 500 on the floor and a few pop bags for balance. We all ride 80' and 23 on the PP although I guarantee we are riding faster than that.

The pics are me at 5'8", Seth at 6'4" and Shawn boosting.
