So...i went down to the marina for a lovely set on a glassy fall day...turns out theres been a mink living in my boat...half eaten dead fish under the passenger seat & in the bow...the tarp is totally covered in excrement...the animal had deficated the inside of my ride...peed everywhere...poo'p on the seats...so they are stained....must have been living up inside my dash...& p'sd in the heater..cause it wreeeeks....my boat is like pig pen on charlie brown...as soon as you go near it...it's stinkin discusting...& guess what...insurance policy states...does not cover damage by "otters rodents or any other vermin...."
marina owner says he's never seen anything like it in 20 years....
so..i'm on my own to get it back to clean...i now have it up on a hoist...un tarped to air out...tarp has been scrubbed,,,im thinking of taking the tarp to the local laundry mat but pitty the fool who's after me cause that thing will ruin a washing machine...i willhave to take off the dash panel and see what the f'n thing has left me up in there....maybe bleach the carpets?? power wash them???
what are your thoughts???
