Tore an abdominal muscle last Summer. Took 3 months to heal with no riding. So, respect that strain and go easy for a few weeks. Stretch, stretch, then stretch some more.

Broke my arm this year, so I hear ya on the injuries killing your ability to progress.

Did that on a backroll to nosedig. hurts like all hell, had to have the others on the boat pull me back in. Couldn't sit straight in a chair at wendys that afternoon.

Good luck. Use it as an excuse to drink beer and watch TV.

That sucks, sorry to hear. Hope you build new muscle quick and get back out.
Idea for you, works for me.
When I am trying to hard and getting hurt a lot, I pop the CD into the TV, "THE BOOK" watch the section that relates to what your trying to achieve. It will take you back to basics and you can mentally prepare for your next try.
I can almost guarantee it will work.

herniated a disk last year. After a few injections, and taking time off to recoup and fast forward a year Im still not that anxious to push it that hard. I hear ya on the getting hurt,

was not even trying to bust anything. I was reverse buttersliding to warm up, and the second time it was a cruisers rollers. Got through the first five and nosed into the last one. I need to stretch more. I need a crew with the same days off.
