I think i screwed up. I put my fitting for my ballast intake directly in line with the shaft and prop. The intake is between the tracking fins and were the shaft comes out of the hull.Does anyone know if this affects the prop, maybe cavation? Its seems like alot of vibration through out the boat and very slugish out of the whole. I bought a prop that acme recommended i use with the amount of weight i am running.

2003 elite v drive acme 911 3 blade prop 2000lbs ballast 2 750's rear 500 up front

i can not see thruhull fitting causing vibration. Make sure the prop is in good shape,no damage. Do you know what size a 911 prop is i think the stock prop on you boat is a 13x13 3 blade.

make sure your prop is seated properly on the keyway...soudns like that may be the issue.

You may simply be discovering what 2000 pounds does to a person's hole shot.

What engine are you running?

I would not blame the location of the intake.

350 MAG MERC. 1:1 TRANNY it just seems like theres alot of unnessary vibration. I rode in a malibu 2007 23lsv and it did not have any of that vibration it was solid as a rock loaded up with ballast and wedge deployed. Maybe i just got spoiled. I know there is no comparsion between centurion and malibu. I am going to check to make sure the prop is on all the way on and try not to load it up so much with weight to see if it makes a difference. thanks for the suggestions.

I have the same boat stock prop and use more ballast. Vibrations are not normal. It is an older boat, have the shaft allignment check, and the wear on the shaft bushing. Its not a 07 malibu but it good boat
