I found this crack on my epoxy shred stixx last weekend?? Board hasn't been dropped as we are super careful with it.
I am going to let the board dry out and try to put some epoxy over the top of the crack. Has anyone used marine tex for this? http://www.marinetex.com/marinetexepoxyputty.html
Here's the picts!

Ouch - that's right along the outline of the Futures fin box. There's been some pressure placed on that fin from leading edge towards the tail, forcing the box into the foam. You might check if there is anyway when you're storing it that someone might have leaned on it or kicked it accidently.

I'm not a big fan of those high proportion epoxies - the 4 to 1 or 5 to 1 ratios like Marine Tex because it pretty easy to get a little off on the mixture and then it's weak, plus they are so expensive - unless you already have some. Honestly, I like the simple cheap 1 to 1 - 5 min epoxy. They're cheap, easy mix ratios (if you're a little off it almost doesn't matter) and FAST to cure. It's waterproof and if you cover it with some white paint, you'll never know you repaired it.

Good luck!

Thanks Jeff! I actually have both types of epoxy at home but like you said getting the mix accurate on the Marine Tex is difficult. I think I'll just use the 5 minute epoxy I have!
