Guys i dont know the name of this trick so i need help because i want to know how to do it. Its a surface trick and the rider leans all his weight on the back foot untill the board is streight up in the air and is just riding on the very back edge of the board. Any ideas?

I guess that would be like a tail blunt. I don't think it can be done on a wakeboard when riding normally behind the boat(i.e. not cutting). You would need have a good cut out into the flats and then release your board in a way that would send it into a blunt slide or something. And it wouldn't last long. I don't really do them that much though. Maybe someone with more experience could explain it better.

Yes Big Heavy is correct it is the act of "shredding the Gnar," not to be confused with "slaying the gnar," or a good old "Gnar Kill."

do it switch and it's "the gnar gnar and the gnarshisp enterprise"

on a wakeskate it's the "gnarlston chew"

I call that trick a tail press or manual. If you can do a power slide this trick is easy
Start with a strong hs cut out to build speed.
Just befor you loose line tension flaten out and rock all your weight back over the tail of the board.
The trick is you need to transfer all your weight quickley with out breaking at the waist or knees.

I hope this helps.

X-BOX Shaun Murray Wakeboarder lists it as a Tail Blunt or a Nose Blunt.

i personally like the term tail ride or tail walk, and it can be done with out cutting, it can be done anywhere, it helps to do it more on the back corner if you arent cutting, dont know why cus you are still goin straight. there really are alot of variations to this trick. in a turn is a classic, in a powerslide is old school too, my personal favorite is in a butterslide just ridin the tail on the wake. its really good for practicing board control.
