I just watched his section in Relentless and it's so smooth. What seems to be holding him back from a national championship? Is he just a better freerider than a competition rider?

He was the 2002 National Champion.

lots of riders are better freeriders than comp riders. take randy harris for example. imo, he doesn't stand a chance in a comp. but get him out freeriding, and hands down, harris will probably impress you the most.

Excellent point Joe...hadn't thought of that. I did see the list of world champs in WBM I think, so I must've glossed over him being the 02 champ.
