If you're referring to the shots of Shawna, then I'd say so. She's fully clothed in both shots, and she and her mom both read these forums so if either of them objected to the pictures being posted they could have asked Dave to delete them. Additionally, the text in the post mentioned them placing well in comps and that they are in The Chick Flick. It didn't say "dudes...check out the funbags on THIS hottie" or anything like that.

buuuuut you could be referring to someone else in the thread that I haven't noticed. Still, I don't see a huge deal until one of them is being drooled over like Maeghan Major is.

Liz, Randy here. My intent for the pic's of the girls was to give them some props for their wakeboarding, and to promote the Chick Flick. I thought the pic's were tasteful and the one from INT nationals kind of classy. I know the Hoffman family very well and my son stays with them and trains with the girls when he is in NorCal. I have a call into Gina and if she, Mark or the girls object I will gladly ask David to pull my post. Sorry if I offended you.

i do understand people's concern, but i think if someone that's been charged w/ child sex crimes posted the pics, then there should be concern. we're talking about randy here. randy's a stand-up guy. i don't think his intent is anything more than what he said, giving them props and promoting the chick flick.

Hey Randy, no worries, the girls saw their pictures this morning and were happy someone thought of them. We don't have a problem with any of these pictures-- all in good taste. Alex has been on the mountain every day this week, 7 to 10 inches of new pow every night. You guys got to make a road trip up this year to snowboard with us.

Kevin: Leslie was and still is the most stylish girl I ever see on the water. If she is not riding profesionally anymore it is because the wakeboarding world is not very easy, especial if you are a woman. Leslie is an awesome person who has done alot for womens wakeboarding. So we need to have a little bit more respect for her.

I agree with what you write about Leslie. She is a true stylist and puts the purity of the ride before the business side of things. That strategy has both advantages and disadvantages. As I have said before, I view Leslie on the same level as Jay Adams of the Dogtown Z-boys, another who comes to mind is Randy Harris, these are people who are driven by passion inside and seem not inclined to get down with partnering with sponsorship interests and such. But riding for the purity of style does not always equate to career longevity, and that's just their path... maybe they have some choice in the matter, maybe not.

I'm stoked Joe was able to get Leslie out to catch a few frames for the Chick Flick, from what hear... and Kevin the 20-year old from Texas who's favorite rider is Shane B... it also is perhaps poor strategy to go on a public forum and say things that could be hurtful about somebody you do not know.
