VLX vs new 210 wake

How do these wakes compare. I dont want a my boats better thread but I have ridden behind a lot of VLXs and just found out theres a CC dealer coming to town. What are the wake characteristics?

The best thing to do is demo a 210 when the new Nautique dealer opens for business.

i've put a lot of time behind an 06 vlx. put a couple days worth of riding behind the new CC 210. i would throw my money toward the vlx first. i actually wouldn't even consider paying anything for the new 210. sorry guys but i just hate that boat. it was sooooo much better when it was the 06 down hull. but who knows you may like the 210 better than the vlx so i'd go do some demos.

Also depends on if you're looking for new. The VLX hull is changing this year and I'm not sure what the word on the wake is yet.

I think the new 210 has a pretty darn good wake. It takes more weight and factory the wake isn't anything monstrous. I think the new wake is kinda like a cross between a VLX and a X-star, nice transition with a small lip.

A couple of guys I ride with own 03,05 210's after a couple of pulls with my 08 210 they are wanting to trade.

IMO, for your average rider the older style 210 wake is a difficult wake to hit consistently. The VLX has always been a more "begginer" friendly wake. Big but mellow.
