I love mine. Got the 145 to help soften the landing. I can't really say anything about the toeside technology they say it has. But I thinks it's a great board.

I got the 145. The toeside does have more grip if it's set up the right way. Toeside is the logo side. You can see it visually also. The fin is deeper. It's a great board for starting out and has plenty of performance to grow and ride even when your skill increases. Supposed to be the same rocker line as Premier. But I demo'd the 141 DNA premier and got a lot more pop, though the premier is a lot more slippery. It's a good starter board that can still perform. I will probablly go to the premier, but will hang on to the state for a second board and for friends without boards to learn and ride. If your beginner to intermediate it's a great board for the price. I recomend it. Also if your a bigger rider the 145 size is great. I'm 6'4 270 and even at speeds as low as 15 mph I don't sink and can turn the board around on the surface.

Have the 140 state, but replaced the stock fins for .7. The original set-up just seemed to drag and feel slow, but then without the fins, things speed up and it's a little to skippy for my riding, so have gone with .7 and it feels spot on.

I went with the .7 on my State also. It's a good tip.

It's OK. I rode it when it first came out. At that point I was riding a '04 Premier. It rode pretty good, again, no word on the TS thing. It seemed to ride pretty normal to me. For what it's worth, I liked the Premier better. Thought it was smoother and had more pop. If you are interested in the State I would check out the Era. BTW, in my opinion, the only way to ride the State is without the center fin. Otherwise it releases very poorly. That said, I'm really talking if you are a intermediate or higher level rider looking for the most performance.

I bought the 140 because I felt so rusty this season. Everyone I have loaned it to says its the the easiest board to ride. I have great luck with all my first timers. I like to take my first runs on it.Its harder to slide this board toe or heelside.
Nice not to having to switch the boots for gooofy or regular riders.

I have the 140. I love the board. I actually have a stronger TS edge than HS for some reason. The bindings suck but accomodate multiple shoe sizes. I am going to get new bindings and keep the board. (side note I have only boarded on this board and a HO soul 5 140)

I upgraded the bindings pretty quickly even though I just started. The size range is to wide on the adjustables, mine came with the Spins and I flew out on minor spills even with a size 13 foot. I went with the 3DS because I liked the stiffness and because they seem similer to my Slalom bindings I was used to getting in and out of. I have to have an epic crash to come out now.

What size are you 3DS bindings?
