Those are interesting. The appendages weren't though? There was a contest for shapers on his finless concept. Most were within the confines of a blank's thickness, not the extra depth that Rock has on these. Was it Rusty that held it?

It sure looks like Rock would have to add some foam to a close tolerance blank to get those massive 'finless fins' - that first picture in particular, looks as if the tunnel was shaped and then glued up. There is just so much depth to them.

The Boards are for a collector, Rock participates in the sacred craft build offs then we test, document,& them send them to the collector. There not ready for the boat yet as they are very fast but not much maneuverability . you would just run into the transom Rock will have a shaping booth at the surf rodeo pick his brain & see what next for surfing salt & fresh water waves

JL - tell me more about the Surf Rodeo event, please. I saw your post on WO.com, but I haven't been able to find any more details.
