17x62 foot shop, concrete floor. Tined and insulated with a 17x10 loft in the rear. 14x11 foot door, easy backing approach, secure and secluded with owners allowing me to work on stuff (dirty, oil, etc) kepp stuff out overnight if need be and have a beer fridge. Mellow guys! What would you guys pay for this?

I think mine is 15 x 50, 24 hour secure access (keyed access, cameras, gated, etc.), 4 electrical outlets, interior lights, etc. and I pay around $180 per month.

I think its worth a couple hundred a mo maybe, maybe more maybe less...the real question is what does the owner think its worth?

Also, a HUGE factor in how much it is worth is how proximal it is to the places you will use it most, your house, etc...

Sounds like a pretty nice set up though. For comparisons sake.. You can get a 15 X 30 (approx) indoor storage with one power outlet in the back, gravel floor, 1 mile from the ramp, off Lake Lewisville for $120 per month.

I pay $1500.00/year for 14 x 40, concrete floor, 12 x 12 door with electricity. It's on property at Mt. Harbor Resort, Lake Ouachita in Arkansas.

It is about 5 minutes from the house. The guy wants and gets $250. Here in WI there are no BIG TOY storage spots around. Its tough to find a place that an xstar can be backed in easily without tower folding.

For the size, and 5 min from the house, doesn't seem TOO unreasonable... Seems like severe overkill though.

Would you be able to utilize the rest of the shop for other stuff? If you have more toys to put in there, I'd say go for it...

If there are none in WI, maybe you should look at constructing some. 250 a slot could make some very nice cashflow.

I am having the same problem here. basically I found a need. I think I may do the same.
