I just have a few questions about ollies. i'm an intermediate rider(front bigspins 3 shuvs and can pretty much kickflip). im just curious though because on my kickflip i can only do them inside out. i can never really ollie high enough to do them in the flats. i really need help!
It's not ollie height, it's technique. Practice getting the board fully in the air before you kick it. That should keep it straight and make it flip faster.
I never do. Obviously I like popping the mess out of it, and it's more fun to do, but if I don't really focus , and just worry about the flip, I land them everytime. Same with Varials, except I dont land them everytime, haha.
The ollie is the foundation for most tricks, you should work on getting em higher.......would probably make your 3 shuvs and big spins look a whole lot better if you popped em high.
