Leaving out of Wahweap 7/7-14 next week and plan to travel up to (beyond) Dangling Rope ? Possibly Oak Creek ? Trying to get a feel for the amount of houseboat gas (59ft Discovery xl) that we will burn. First trip there and we want to spend more time boarding and on the beach than moving around (3) houseboats and burning gas. Looking to get upriver far enough to use Dangling Rope for the (3) tow boat gas needs (hoseboats have pumps).} Comments about the area between Last Chance and Oak Creek would also be helpful.

alot, take out a second mortgage. the gas is way more expensive at D R than any were else.

Well, thanks for that Chris, I see it's $3.50 / gal. in DR but I already took out the second for the trip. Soooo I guess it's a 3rd and 4th just keep the trip on the calendar because the beer and booze is just as important as the gas.
Chris - I see you are on the other topics with help out of Bulfrog. From Nor Cal I originally thought we would go out of Bulfrog but we are meeting other in Wahweap.
