Towing With A 96 Chevy Yukon 5.7 350

Will a 5.7 350 4X4 2dr tahoe tow a 21 foot v drive okay?

Should be OK. I use a 96 Yukon SLT to tow my VLX, and no issues.

The 350 has been used to tow anything and everything. There are also more hop up parts for the 350 than any other motor, PERIOD. The 2 door tahoe has a short wheelbase so it could get a little squirrelly sometimes, specially under hard breaking. All in all it should be fine...

I have a 96 Suburban K2500 with the 350, I've towed over the TN mountains and to FL several times. No problems.

Just don't tow in overdrive

The Vortec 350 is a great motor. Will tow with the best of them. The only problem is braking. That tahoe doesnt have rear disc so it wont stop quite as fast as others. But all in all will be great.
