nice looking boat, congrats you made the right choice. You will not be disappointed at all. This thing smokes the wake on the Tomcat all day long.

Sweet! Looks like Alan @ Southern Ski took care of you.
I like the colors you picked for the puzzle graphics. Did you go with the ZR6?
Here is a pic of my '05.
Congrats!!

Browny - Thanks I almost went with the flames
your boat looks sweet!
I did get the ZR6 and heater, as you know everything else is standard. Didn't get the 2 speed because i figured the 375 hp the ZR 6 puts out would be enough.
Do you have the ZR6 and if you do how do you like it.

Hey Claude, I have the 6.0L w/o the 2-speed and it kicks ass. Full Ballast (2500 lbs. in the Team Edition), 4 people, and I have no problems getting on-plane. In fact, with no ballast pulling up Chase on the skate, and its as if I have no rider back there.
Get Alan to take you out one day & setup the PP. We had some problems w/ it at first where it would blow by the speed on occasion coming out of a turn. He called PP & they walked him through the setup. Works like a charm now.
You'll enjoy that heater come March. The water may be 75 on the private side, but the air at 60 is still a bit chilly...

Yep, I got the ZR6 without the two-speed transmission too.
Mega power outta the hole, makes your nuts tingle a little .
My V3 is 21’6” with 2100 lbs of factory ballast, so it’s a little smaller and lighter than your V23.
I didn't notice this before... the light blue piping on your seats is a nice touch.
Tower speakers and lights would look killer too.
Enjoy!

hey browny hows our lake and my lift? I have driven browny's boat and it is really fast...takes no time at all for the rev limiter to start working it's ass off.

D Dub! Whats up? The lake is way up thanks to heavy snowfall and rain, it is lappin at the bottom boards of my dock.
Your lift is empty and waiting for the LSV, I got the battery out and on a trickle charger for ya. Thanks for makin sure
my rev limiter works, dude I never even bury it like that ya chowder. Maybe I should snag a different prop to cut down
on the top end and give me more holeshot.
Is summer here yet?!?!

Dan - I'm taking Alan out on the first trip to set-up everything and make sure everything is working right.

Browny - Got some NVS Addictions, haven't had time to put them up yet - are the lights useful or more for looks?

ZR6 and 2 speed and 1 1/2feet shorter than the V23, you probably need seatbelts on take off

Funny story on the piping - I thought it was going to be red but they put aqua to match pinstripes on outside of boat. Probably a good choice - probably won't see that in to many boats.

The NVS will look and sound great. I guess the lights are a little of both.. useful for early
evening riding/docking/trailering and the late nite booze cruises, and they look sweet too.
The aqua pinstripes and piping make your boat unique and different from all the others.

Sean - your boat looks awesome
where do you ride?
Old     (seangriswold)      Join Date: Apr 2006       01-25-2007, 7:41 PM Reply
Thanks guys! Even Alan will admit he was not real sure about what this one was gonna look like when I came to him with the colors. I love the way it turned out.

Cl- I live in Salisbury on the eastern shore of MD. We ride on the Wicomico and Nanticoke Rivers. There is not enough people who are into wakeboarding in my area. IMO. I have visited my cousin in Nashville and all you see on the lakes are wakeboard boats. Its great. The plus side is that people go crazy over the MB, because they have never seen anything like it.

Cl- I see you ride at Lake Anna..that is great! I have a friend Tommy who has a lake house down there. He has a 23LSV that has a very similar color scheme to wakeworlds boat. In fact I just purchased a diesel excursion from him and there is not way those guys will let me get through this summer without bringing it down to the lake.

Sean, I know Alan was talking about having a get-together somewhere this spring for all his MB owners.
That is a sweet looking boat. I think he told me about yours when I was looking at getting mine. If your ever out on Lake Anna & see me, give a shout.

Dan- Thanks! I will definitely do that. I love going to Anna. Its a nice change from the eastern shore and there is a lot of people into wakeboarding on the lake.
