I hooked up the fake-a-lake and tried to give the boat its first start of the season. After a minor battery issue, the boat appeares to be working fine except it wont start. Starter, bells and engine sound and turn normal.

Its been sitting for about six months in a garage. Freezing is not a issue. I also put some sta-bil in the fuel before storing it. Any suggestions of where I should start?

The engine turns over no problem, so the starter / battery sound like they are working well. It just wont ignite. How do I know if the kill switch is working? Maybe bad fuel?

BTW, it has always started quickly before today.

You need to check and see if you are getting spark.

And is there fuel in the carb/EFI?

If the kill switch is pulled, then the engine won't turn over.

Yep check the basics. Fuel, spark and air, then go from there.

I had the exact same issue about a month ago. Boat ran fine when it was put away, then wouldn't start when I pulled it out of the garage. Ended up being a bad fuel pump. The pump was running, but wouldn't make enough pressure.

Mine has a fuel shutoff valve on top of the gas tank. Make sure that is open

did you run it after you put stabil in it? if not the fuel in the lines and carb/throttlebody/whatever fuel dilivery system you have, did not get treated it could very well be plugged up somewhere.

If you have a mechanical fuel pump it needs to be primed.
