Board Transfer 180?

Did anyone else see Drew Danielo do a Board Transfer 180 in the Semi-Finals of the World Wake Surf Championships?

No, I saw the board transfer in the prelim, but he added a 180 to it also? That's sick. RL do you know who won the men's open?

I saw the results on boardstock.com. I did not have time to stay Sunday but yes he did add a 180 into his Board transfer. It was amazing!

What is the board transfer? Is it just like it sounds, transfering from one board to another?

Yeah lovin, what Drew does is ride behind the boat ON one board with another under his arm. He drops the rope surfs for a bit then jumps up, tucks his knees almost to his chest and places the board that was under his arm, beneath his feet and lands back down in the pocket riding the new board.

Derek, you're right, both Drew and Jamie were very personable, some of those professional athletes are pompous a-holes. As if being able to ride a board gives you strength of character! Yahoo's...but not Drew and I'd also say Jamie. They are down to earth, pleasant and polite. Just good folks.
