Tower Speakers/Amp ?'s

Well, we take delivery of our 2003 Air 210 Team Edition next weekend. Now we need help with the speakers setup. We met with the dealer today and they suggested a Phoenix Gold Amp with (2) sets of Boss B-69 speakers. What do you think of the setup? What should I pay for the setup?

D.S. I Personally would go with the Boss B-530 and a zapco amp. I am running that in my boat and it sounds crystal clear.

Zapco is sweet stuff. I would definitely opt for the 530 or 60s over the 6X9s. Pheonix Gold Titanium is very comparable to the power and clarity of Zapco products. Their Tanturm series is strong, but a little on the bright side. Still sounds very good for the money.

6x9s are to offset.. go with 3 way setup 530s and a pg amp not zapco. what is a zapco?

Mario are you for real youve never heard of ZAPCO?Ive heard of them just dont see them much because they are pricey...

I would go with a loud liquid Whiplash box (www.loudliquid.com). very good SPL/SQ and has lights built into the box as well. all priced for less than the boss stuff I think.

D.S. make sure that you have the right speakers in the cans, and that you dont find them laying in your boat like mine did... and for the hill billy pg amps are the s#:+. not zap!

Definitely go with the Boss B-530's and a PG amp. Then all you need to do is add a sub. You'll love the sound of the B-530's.
