We have an ssv and the wake is great, it can be adjusted to your personal preference rampy or steep using the hydraulic wakeplate. I'm heading out to the lake this weekend and I will get some pics for you.

The SSV wake can be many different wakes. Like Tyler said, it can be adjusted to be rampy or steep. The wakeplate is a very versatile tool. You can literally change the characteristics of the wake on the fly.

Here are some Pics of my SSV wake. This day we had one rider in tow and two adults in the boat. We were running 2200-2400 lbs of ballast. The first pic is with the wake plate all the way down (more rampy). The second pic is with the exact same ballast and people, but with the plate 3/4 up. Both pics are at around 22 mph at 70 ft out.

Although pictures don't always do wakes justice, you can definitely tell the difference in how much more vertical the second pic is from the first.

I have had my SSV since February. I absolutely LOVE it! Although there isn't a ton of storage space for your stuff, there is tons of room to lounge in the boat. I never feel cramped on my boat, even with 8 people on board. The lockers are huge and really give you the ability to upgrade your ballast sacs to create a wake as big as you want. I can't say enough great things about the Supra SSV or my local dealer. Both have been outstanding.

rich, depending on the width of the wake, I would try 75 feet out, I rode stock ballast, 4 guys behind my friends ssv and at 75 the wake gets this vert lip, its awesome... too narrow for me at 70 ft but 75 was smoothhhh
but yea, the wake changes characteristics like crazy goen an extra 5 feet out, I loved it
