Up date for those who are interested.

I got the Centurion Cyclone this year because I could get the barefoot & wakeboard wake that I want. I had never gotten a V drive before because
the Barefoot booms simple did not work from all the spray.

Fast forward to 2004 the new BI barefoot boom works GREAT!
Very strong, and no side spray! I was also worried about the height but that turned out to be no problem either!

The only problems and they are minor. The boom his not as easy to install or adjust the height.

Overall I could not be happier with the boat or the Boom!

Kevin,

If you have any close up pics of the way the boom is mounted to the tower (pro flight right?) I would like to see them. Also does part of the booms clamps stay on the tower when the boom is stored?
Thanks

Kevin,
I am in the market for a BI boom. When you say "not as easy to install or adjust" - are you comparing the tower boom to the standard pylon mount boom? Thanks!

IF I had a direct drive I would go with a regular boom it is easier to use and way cheaper

I noticed your profile picture so I could not resist
