So when took my boat out of storage the stereo was only playing through the 2 subs. Not being a stereo guy and not seeing anything obvious I took it down today to the guys who installed everything.

They called me and told me my amp had gotten some water in it and it was no good any more. They replaced it with a more powerful amp with bigger fuses I guess and when we cranked the sound it was impressive. I thought it sounded good before. I can't wait til the weather strts heating up and the water starts getting warmer.

Defective amps never sound good...

Might have sounded just as good if you had the amp repaired (although I treat my amps as disposable when they go bad)
