I was just wondering if anyone else with the newer platform is having an issue with kids getting their arms stuck in btween the handle bar and the platform. I am starting to worry about it as it seems that the little kids are doing this allot and it could be pretty serious.

Just wanted to see how others have dealt with it.

Never hand a problem with ours however we have an 03'. Have they changed the platform, i.e., made the gap between the grab bar and the platform bigger? If so I could see it possibly being an issue.

They are just wide enough to get a kids arm through but then when they freak out and turn their elbow they are stuck.

I love the nice stainless steel rail, but have noticed a few injuries as well and seen discussion on supraboats.com about it. Might be worth bringing it to their attention since SC is very concious about this stuff....

The only problem we have is the black some times ruins a pair of boardshorts.
