I believe the X1 was originally the 205v, and then the first XSTAR... right?

I thought I also read that the next XSTAR was what is now the X2. Is that correct?

205v ---> X-Star ---> x-Series ----> X2 ----> X1

Current X-Star has only been the X-Star

Yup...

The current X2 has only been the X2. The current X-star has been essentially the same since it's intro in '04.

205v became the X-star, then the X2, and is now the X1.....

1999 PS 205v (xstar)
2003 PS 205v (X2)
2003 Xstar (current)
2006 Ps205v (X1)
2006 X2 (current)

if I'm following this right, in 2003 there was no X-star? 2004 was first pickle fork X-star.

The xstar in '03 was labeled X-series (I believe due to the delay in the new x-star hull). I put the wrong year above it is 2004 for the current hull.

So can I still make a valid claim I own an X-Star even though its a '99.

2003 the current X-Star hull was introduced as a late model 03 boat. Hull ID's officially claim/validate the birth of the current pickle fork X-Star in late 03 stamped 03. There are only a few but they are there.

In 03 the original 205V/star was just called the X Series.

The 205v was called X-Series only briefly -- I had an '03 205v that was delivered in early '03 that was labeled X2.

It still said Tow boat of the X-Games on it though despite the X-Star being out, or at least just around the corner.
