I just use those L-shaped metal ladder racks that you can buy at Home Depot or Lowes. I use two per board and make sure that they are screwed into a stud. I cut an old bike inner tube and use zip ties to cover them so that the board's edges don't get boogered up. It's cheap and easy to install.

May be a dumb question, is it "not" a good idea to store your board in the boat?

I made this rack for our snowboards but it will work with wakeboards too. We leave ours in the boat though.

Wal Mart has the ladder hangers that screw right into the wall that already have a plastic/rubber coating on them. Think I paid 3 or 4 bucks for four of them to hang two boards on.

Blake,
Yes Home Depot still carries those racks. I just picked some up last weekend and they work awsome.

you might want to check lowes also. my local home depot did not carry them but Lowes did. Work perfectly, especially for $5. you cant beat that.
