What would a person expect to pay for something like fuels nautique, but just painting the stripe and not the deck. My nautique has badly faded and I was looking for answer.
Here are pics of mine. I had just the stripe repainted and the rest reworked. I believe I was quoted $1500 for that work, though I am not sure b/c my total bill was higher, but had a lot more work done.
Here are some pics of my last Tige. We repainted the stripe and widened it a few inches. PPG makes an awsome marine grade paint with a 10 year warranty. It looked and worked awesome. It was painted because the old stripe was faded and buffing it out didn't work.
i used gel coat from minicraft in florida for all the white ( they have any color u want) the i used sikkens basecoat and claercoat for the yellow. both hold up awesome especially the gel coat

my gel coat is already alittle messed up... basicly i want to redo the whole hull(underneath and everything) in red or black... how would i do this? is there a chance i could really screw anything up? would i be better off taking it for someone else to do? also how would i remove the current decals so it could be painted?
to get the decals off u can for to a hardware store or home depot and pick up a heat gun or a little steamer works well also. warm up the decals and peel them off as u go. u might might an adhesive remover also. u can get that at a napa or auto value. i flipped my boat over on a snowmobile trailor to do the whole bottom. i hard alot of damage to fix so i flipped it, u probably dont need to. i added some pics of mine flipped over and with the damage one after it was sprayed with the gel coat and one after i buffed the gelcoat. not sure of the order of the pics when they atttach but u can get the point
