How far west are you talking? I ride with some people in Syracuse, primarily the finger lakes. I know there is a few people that ride on canandaigua and keuka lake, but thats as far west as I go.

Damn, that brings back memories...

I grew up skiing Cayuga, and later Honeoye. Back then (late 1970s early 80s), we didn't care if it was 60 degrees & whitecaps, we just wanted to ski.

Now I'm bitching about 75 degree water temps in April on a heated lake. Man, what a wuss I've become...
