Stinger battery isolator and Perko

Can you install a Stinger battery isolator and a perko switch together?

With the perko in the system I could still take both batteries to the off position.

I am assuming if it can be done, you would set it up to where when you put the perko in battery 1 position it would allow power to be drawn out of battery #1 when the engine is off and when the engine is running the isolator would kick in and allow power from both batteries.

Is this right?

you don't need both. either will do

If you just have a battery isolator, how do you physically disconnect the battery from the system when you store it?

you shouldn't have to do that. I guess if you have a power leak somewhere I could see a need for both.

I would just put both batts on a trickle charge and not worry about it. If you're set on disconnecting, then yea, use both. not a common problem though.
