So I'm looking for a board and bindings for my niece. She's 9, very petite, and hooked on wakeboarding after learning at the end of the summer. I'm thinking of something along the lines of a 2006 LF Diva or Star (124 or 128) with LF Element bindings.

Whatch y'all think? Any recommendations? Anyone selling?

I don't know about the board and bindings but I bet she would love a copy of the Chick flick DVD.

My wife has the Hyperlite Eden and loves it. Check into Grizzly Sports, they have amazing deals and a knowledgeable staff to give you pointers if you have questions.

My 7, soon to be 8 Dec 3rd, year old daughter rides the 06 Motive 119 w/ HL Mini Spin Bindings and it was perfect for her. IMO, if you are set on the boards above, pick the smaller one.

BTW, get her the DVD too...

Dec 3rd...good day for a birthday. Me too, although 4 times the age.

I thought 119 might be a touch small for her...at least for her to grow into/out of in the next years. But yeah I agree, the 124 would probably be more appropriate since she's so petite...not sure how much she weighs.

well i dont think a 119 would be too small. At the time I was 5'0 and 100 pounds and rode a cwb charger just fine. I really like the control I could achieve from a smaller board. I'm getting a 125 this coming season though, grew a few inches and need a new board.
