fatsacs and saltwater

Finally invested in a few sacs so we don't have to drag the 400lbs plastic drums around anymore. However.. we ride in the ocean but we keep the boat a bit up a river so it sits in fresh water.
Have anyone experienced trouble from filling their sacs with salt water?

I wouldn't imagine it'd be a problem. The pumps are essentially livewell pumps and as such shouldn't have any problems with salt water. Go for it.

all the pumps are designed for salt and the sacs themselves have nothing to corrode, so you're fine}

Thanks. We have ha good 20 minutes boat ride to where we ride so it would really suck having to fill the sacs at the dock.

The 12-volt connectors on my Fly High tsunami pumps are rusting pretty badly from saltwater use but they still work. Make sure you rinse them with fresh water after every use. I called Fly High (Barefoot Intl) and they said that they can be replaced with a standard 12-volt plug if they stop working. My ballast bags are fine, I try to rinse them out with a bit of fresh water if I am leaving them for a while..
