I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the Scott Firman cable park that was going to be some where in lansing Michigan? this was a bit of a topic 9 months ago on Wakeworld, talks of investors and servaying sites in two different areas. then it all stopped in the spring sometime.

There is a profound silence over the Lansing plan. The only cable park operating in Michigan is Placid Wake Park at Placid Waters in Allendale - just West of Grand Rapids.

Sorry for dropping the ball on the communication end. There have been ups and downs to this project. Good news it is still in the making. Intamin is costing to much. In the millions...so no thanks. Lansing is out. Really too small for what I am planning now. I am working with the metro parks for the new site. And it looks really promising. I just don't wasn't to get hopes too high. When w break ground, then I will truly know we are there. The location will be Brighton. I have great support for a great pro shop. Might seek out a board brand to sponsor for the rental boards. The park will be big...6 large lines running. And maybe 2 2.0 systems as well. Two boat runs.stay tuned and I will try to keep everyone posted. The park system wants to know about operation during winter months. Any I ideas?

Theres a large concentration of riders on the oakland county and surrounding metro area. This would be a great place. Placid is awesome but the 2 and a half hour drive can be a litle tough.

Let me just say....wake to snow.....I am very careful who I talk to and what I talk about. Some of my closets friends do not have all the details. I have somethings in mind that are not being currently being done at any of the parks. Enough said. Just be patient.
