my brother got his jet pilot a-10 attack vest today, but it is too small and it is a XL/XXL. but my large CGA stance is about the same size (i know it is longer). can someone take measurements of their XL/XXL a-10 attack? does the vest stretch any after being used a couple times? im hoping that something got screwed up when it was being made. thanks for any help
Seems like the thin Non-USCGA vests run very small. I wear a medium vest usually and it's comfortable but with my O'Neill Boost which is a large fits tight!! I wonder why this is? Can anyone shed any light onto why the sizes of the thin Non-USCGA vests run between 1-2 sizes smaller? Is it because they are so form fitted? A standard vest is very universal so maybe they are made a little larger to accomodate many people and they can be adjusted. You have to be very particular with the thin vests. I went around and tried on the brands first to know exactly what sizes to look for. They're like a wetsuit, tight and only for you!
oneill non uscga approved vests run like 2-3 times then an average approved vest, my a-10 is a x-large and i am not that big, the vest does tend to lossen up after a couple times out, but does stretch that much, hope this helps
