How fast should you pull an intermediate rider behind a boat filled with 1250 pounds of ballast(Malibu VLX)?
Also, I bought a new board(byerly 137 '06) and am having trouble deciding on bindigs. Have been contemplating the Liquid Force Watkins Limited Edition 06 and the CWB Zeus 06. Any recommendations?
Can anyone give a solid review on the 06 Byerly 137?
Thanks!!

start at 21-22 and go up from there. Congrats on the new board. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and assume you mean the Liquid Force WATSON bindings. Both the Watson and the Zeus are good bindings. Easy-entry, good support, good response. You can't go wrong with either.

I cant speak for the 06 but I have the 04 byerly and I love it. This board is all about control and has alot of grip.Yet you can still do surface tricks as well. Alot of people dont like them but each to his own.Cant give you much 411 on the boots I have the 04 highbacks and love them. I would like to try something different but not sure.

If th wake isn't clean at 21-22, you might havee to drop ballast or pull faster.

I can get a clean wake as slow as 18 mph and as fast as 26 mph; a clean wake isn't what drives the speed you should ride at. What is the average speed the pros ride?

I'm with the 21-22 mph speed. Another boot of interest would be the LF transits, not as stiff as the Watsons while still offering great support and comfort.

I would say demo both bindings you mentioned and see what you like the best.
Best of luck to ya.
