Another ballast question... I have a 2000 Tige 21v that does not have a front ski locker which is where it sounds like most people put the front bag. Dont want to put lead/sand under seats as I keep it on lift and boat is already heavy. Anyone ever heard of someone cutting the floor(ouch) to install a bag? Ideas?

do it old school and put it in the walkway. thats what we do. but we live on a lake so we dont care about it taking up space because we always just go back to the dock.

j, tigeowners.com has a thread talking about that exact subject. Do know this, it will void the warrenty. Tige has that lifetime plus warrenty. Cutting that hole, voids it. If you are willing to do it anyway, do a search for it at that website, and they will tell you where everyone else is cutting the hole, and where it is plumbed to.

Does it void the warranty if you cut a hole in the hull for a ballast pump?

Nope. Andrew was very specific. Smaller, ballast, pump holes, are ok. Larger, stuffing a bag into, holes are not ok.
