Alright, it took me forever, but I finally got the ordering page up for the WakeWorld jerseys. It will only be up for one week and we will take it down at midnight next Friday, 3/14. That's when the orders will be submitted. We want to get them in quickly because it can take over a month to get them done. If you know somebody who wants one, but might not be on WakeWorld over the next week, be sure to shoot them an email or something.

The jerseys are based on the jerseys of the L.A. Lakers and are available in white with blue trim and blue lettering or dark gray with blue trim and white lettering. We decided not to go with the reversibles since very few showed an interest. They are single-sided. These are top quality jerseys with the logo and all lettering sewn on, not silkscreened!

Go to http://www.wakeworld.com/products/jersey.asp to order yours now!

looks like you took my suggestion on punching out the pieces of the globe.

Think the people who helped design certain parts of it could get a freebie ?

I am stoked on those, $40 for sewn on and customized is an awesome deal. And i have the same question with the size, i'm 6' 165, will they fit like t-shirts or bigger? i am thinking L maybe, not too concerned with it fitting over my vest and i dont really like the super baggy look.
thanks for making this happen so fast dave!

I'm getting the gray, but I need to know how it will fit first so that I can pick the size... I won't be wearing it over my vest, and if I do, it'll be over a tiny comp thing, so it'll be fine...

Racer, what's the problem? I've already gotten seven orders, so it's definitely working for some.

Hoser, your guess is as good as mine on the sizing. I'm assuming it's the same as buying a t-shirt, but if you're going to wear it over a life vest, you might go a size bigger. I know I'm getting some to wear while riding and some to wear elsewhere.

UK is fine as long as you give me a good address. Someone from Norway just ordered 15 of them!!!! I guess the whole crew got together and hooked it up. Thanks guys!!

Josh, I didn't think that was a serious question the first time you asked it, but now that you've asked it twice...no. I asked for feedback from everyone so that we could get you guys the shirts you wanted. If I have to give a free shirt to everyone on that thread who gave me feedback, the cost of the shirts will go up to approximately $70 to cover those.

Sorry, one last question. How much is shipping going to be on these things? I need to know how much money to put into my checking for this.
Old    mendo247            03-08-2008, 9:28 AM Reply
Im assuming no name and number is also an option?

I cant believe you were able to do these so cheap. Makes me wonder how much money they are making off me when im paying $80-$90 on NBA jerseys lol

So i am hearing that XL is good for over a vest? is that right?
specifically a size Medium USCGA vest?
Old     (wakeworld)      Join Date: Jan 1997       03-08-2008, 9:42 AM Reply
As far as sizes go, your guess is as good as mine. I would assume you'd want to go one size bigger if you're going to wear it over your vest, but I'm not making any guarantees. I'm assuming the sizes are pretty much like the sizes on a normal tee-shirt or maybe a little bigger since they are normally used for sporting activities.
Old     (wakeworld)      Join Date: Jan 1997       03-08-2008, 9:48 AM Reply
Sorry, you're going to have to use your imagination on the gray version. I had enough trouble trying to Photoshop the white version! The trim is the same color blue and the lettering/numbering will be white with a blue outline. Here is the shade of gray I'm thinking of. Anybody who can Photoshop it based on the photo above is welcome to it! :-)

Shipping rates can be found at http://www.wakeworld.com/products/ordering.asp. I priced these jerseys pretty low partly because our shipping rates are based on the dollar value of the order and these have a high dollar to weight ratio. You're pretty much going to be paying around $4 per jersey for shipping within the U.S.

Richard, I've got it set up so that you can go without a name on the back if you don't want it. I guess I assumed that everybody would want a number, but if you don't want one, just leave it blank and we'll leave it off.

is the white gonna get stained from water color? cause i know thats happened with some peoples white bindings.
Old     (wakeworld)      Join Date: Jan 1997       03-08-2008, 11:26 AM Reply
David, I can't answer that question. This are high quality quick-dry mico mesh material. I would assume they'd get stained as much as any other material, so it all depends on what you're exposing them to. I've never had staining problems with any of the lakes I've ridden on, but your lake may have a whole different bunch of stuff in it.

Also don't forget that these jerseys would make a great personalized gift! I know I'm picking up a few for friends of mine cuz I know they'll really dig having their name on the back!
Old     (nj_alex)      Join Date: Aug 2002       03-08-2008, 12:17 PM Reply
I see there's a three character limit for the number choice, but is there a letter limit for the name personalization?
Old     (wakeworld)      Join Date: Jan 1997       03-08-2008, 12:22 PM Reply
I'm waiting to hear on the letter limit for the name right now. I'm assuming that the more letters you have, the smaller the lettering is going to be, but I would think you should be able to get in quite a few letters before they have to shrink the font. Because the name is arched, it provides a little more room.

I'm still looking for someone to beat the order of 16 jerseys from the guy in Norway!!

Can someone explain to me whats so cool about these jerseys? I really do not want to sound like an ass, but I don't wanna just by one considering that I dont really know why people where them and when...

you want an answer? how's this? it's different and an alternative to just wearing a vest.

not a good enough reason? who cares? does it bug you that much that this many people like them?

nope... you just answered my question, thanks dude!
Thats what I thought, that you wear it instead of a vest... I'm just surprised to see that this many people do not wear vests on this site. I'll keep wearing the vest for safety reasons though..
Old     (sinkoumn)      Join Date: Jan 2007       03-09-2008, 7:28 PM Reply
People usually wear them over vests too for a different look, so they're not necessarily replacing the vest for a jersey.
Old     (dakid)      Join Date: Feb 2001       03-09-2008, 7:28 PM Reply
instead of JUST a vest, not "instead of a vest."

nice try though.

Brett ~~
1. You having over 900 posts must be something about liking this site. We are supporting this site with buying Jersey's. I don't ride with a shirt on or over my vest, but happy to show my support while on the lake or at any event.

2. Most people on here are getting the Jersey's to wear over their vests. If you go to the middle posts they were talking which size would be best to wear over their vests. Brett, be safe on the water and always were your vest and I hope everybody does on this site.

3. Joe is the last person that you want to get into a pissing match on this thread .

Brett ~~ Right on, that's the one reason why I bought a couple. If it weren't for this site I would not know half the people that ride here in Utah and Las Vegas.

ok, i just tried on a bball jersey (size med) over my vest (o'neill vapor non-cga). the jersey fits over the vest just fine and doesn't feel tight at all. keep in mind thought that i'm 5'9, 160lbs. if you're a bigger person, you might want to consider a bigger size.

I just ordered mine and can't wait to see it. I'm hoping I chose the right size though. Also, do you think the sherrifs/coastguard will pull you over thinking that your not wearing a vest underneath? Then they find out your vest underneath is non-cga. Any thoughts?
